eHEALTH AFRICA
eHealth Africa was established in 2009 with the goal of helping communities get better healthcare services through building stronger health systems that are design and implementation by a data-driven solutions that respond to local needs especially for the underserved communities.
In 2014 as a response to the Ebola outbreak eHealth Africa partnered with Ministry of Health and Sanitation and the United States Centre for Disease Control and Surveillance to set up the national Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) as and command and control centre for responding to the Ebola outbreak. The work of eAfrica in Sierra Leone is focused on Emergency Management, Disease Surveillance and Health Delivery Systems.
