 THE CONVERSATION SOCIETY SIERRA LEONE (CSSL)
Conservation Society Sierra Leone (CSSL) was established in 1986 to promote the sustainable  utilization of Sierra Leone’s natural resources. It is a membership consist of the general public and includes members from various different backgrounds. CSSL is also a founding member of the Environmental Forum for Action (ENFORAC), the CSO umbrella environmental organization in Sierra Leone.
The Society provides policy advice, undertakes environmental education, facilitates learning and advocacy about good conservation practices, implements conservation and sustainable livelihoods projects and facilitates biodiversity research.
